This April, get ready to laugh at the Paramount Theatre's Moontower Comedy Festival.
It takes place the 19th through the 22nd, and features some of the funniest, wittiest, and oddest world-class comics from across the world.
Ping Pong Slapdown (April 19, 8:00 p.m.) - This is one of the festival's most popular events as it combines athletic drama and hilarious commentary. As in the past, the Sklar Brothers will narrate the action and interview the losers.
Puddles Pity Party (April 20, 7:30 p.m.) - Puddles is a sad clown with a golden voice. The Boston Globe recently stated, "It seems like a parody. But when Puddles opens his mouth to sing, it's beautiful. Operatic." He has more than forty million views on YouTube, and his performance at the festival will feature all new emotional anthems that may leave the audience shedding a few tears.
Midnight Mayhem with Ralphie May (April 21, 11:59 p.m.) - This show is worth staying up for as it is full of surprise acts. It's sure to leave you laughing out loud as Ralphie May brings his talent to the stage as host. For more than twenty-five years, he has entertained late-night audiences, traveled the world for the USO, and recorded specials for comedy networks.
Jay Pharoah (April 22, 7:00 p.m.) - Jay is an actor and stand-up comedian who developed his comedic skills at a young age. He is best known for his uncanny celebrity impressions including Denzel Washington, Will Smith, and Kanye West.
