Spring Time Activities To Do in Austin

Spring is here and there are plenty of exciting things to do in Austin, Texas.

Make sure you catch some of the events of SXSW. With over 450 sessions, there's bound to be something you will enjoy. Keep your eyes out around town for celebrities.

Go for a swim in Barton Springs Pool where the water is always 68-70 degrees.

Painting with a Twist has classes most days of the week, and during holidays they tend to have several classes a day. Registration includes all the supplies you need; just bring drinks, snacks, and eating utensils.

Take a yoga class among the beautiful sculptures at Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. Classes are held on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Stop and smell the flowers at the Wildflower Center. March 14 begins Wildflower Days and the center will be open 7 days a week from 9-5. Bring your camera and have your own photo shoot.

Play a round or two at the newly renovated Peter Pan Mini Golf and pose for pictures with all of the characters.

The Austin Public Library has lots of events for people of all ages. Take advantage of computer classes, toddler story time, chess club, book club, and more. Most classes are free!
